Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation is implementing the smart city programme for Ranchi. The corp has invited bids in January 2019 to implement the project. The scope of work involves integrated infrastructure development works which include transport and circulation (road), roadside plantation and arboriculture, storm water drainage water supply and recycle water system waste water system, smart street lighting system, power infrastructure and land development, followed by performance-based O&M of the infrastructure (excluding power infrastructure component) created for a period of five years, including DLP of one year in ABD area of Ranchi Smart City on EPC basis.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 5,146 million.
