Shree Bholey Alloys plans expansion programme

Shree Bholey Alloys is planning to expand its ferro Alloy Plant in Bokaro Industrial Area in Balidih in Bokaro Steel City in Bokaro district of Jharkhand. The project involves expanding ferro alloy plant capacity from 11,500 tpa to 37,500 tpa by installing a 1 x 15 MVA submerged arc furnace. Land required for the project is available. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 290 million.

Power required for the new facility will be procured from Damodar Valley Corp. The company will also set up a back generator with a capacity of 125 kVA.

The new facility will manufacture a product mix of ferro manganese, silico manganese and ferro silicon
