Arvind Ltd has commissioned a green-field garmenting facility in Ranchi in Jharkhand. The new plant has a capacity of 16 million garments per annum, and entailed an investment of ₹ 3,000 million. As of December 2018, the company is setting up of garment production facilities in Jharkhand, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.
The move is also the part of the company strategy to add 50% of its fabric to value added product like garments in next 3-5 years.
