National Dairy Development Board is planning to develop 3 dairy plant in the state of Jharkhand. The board has signed an MoU with the government Jharkhand Milk Federation. NDDB will establish the dairy plants on turnkey basis and manage them for a period of 3 years. The board will also provide technical and manpower support for milk procurement, processing, marketing and training and capacity-building activities.
