Jharkhand government is planning to set up a plastic park in Santipur Pargana Industrial Area in Devipur in Deoghar. Around 150 acres of land has been allotted by the state government. Union Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers will also provide a grant of ₹ 400 million to the project and Jharkhand Industrial Development Authority (JIDA).
As of July 2020, the project is in planning stage.
